EEI welcomes Vasiliki Mantzana-Oikonomaki to the group!

We are very happy to announce, that Vasiliki Mantzana-Oikonomaki will be joining our group as a Postdoctoral Researcher this August.

Vasiliki is an evolutionary biologist interested in how genetic variation gives rise to phenotypic diversity, particularly in animal colouration, and how these traits shape interactions between species. During her PhD, she investigated the genetic basis of colour polymorphism in poison frogs, focusing on pigment biology and the evolution of warning colouration. With us, she will continue studying colour variation, but this time with our wood tiger moth system.
