Cristina Ottocento successfully defended her thesis “The Evolution and Ecological Drivers of Variation in Chemical Defences in the Wood Tiger Moth (Arctia plantaginis)” on the 15th of September 2023. The public defence and following karonkka in Jyväskylä collected old and new lab members from all over the world, and was a brilliant final chapter to the Jyväskylä era of the group.
Cristina was fantastic, and received well earned praise from her opponent of not only the quality of her thesis, but also the perseverance she showed throughout her PhD journey. We all very proud of you, congratulations Cristina!!
