Farewell to Cristina!

The entire EEI group is sad to say farewell to our postdoctoral researcher Cristina Ottocento, who shared many years with the group, starting all the way back as an Erasmus student at University of Jyväskylä.

During her PhD, Cristina did a wonderful job working on the chemical defences of the wood tiger moth, culminating in her thesis “The Evolution and Ecological Drivers of Variation in Chemical Defences in the Wood Tiger Moth (Arctia plantaginis)“. Afterwards, she continued as a postdoctoral researcher continuing her work on both defensive and sexual chemicals in the wood tiger moth, along with new scientific ventures into the world of mushrooms, trehalose and human genomics.

We wish her best of luck for her new position as a research engineer in Versailles!
